Hymenoplasty

Hymenoplasty is a procedure designed to reconstruct or to mimic the appearance of a hymen. , is specially trained to perform the hymenoplasty procedure. In many cultures and religions the hymen is a symbol of purity and virginity, and cultural mores value an intact hymen when a woman marries. The hymen can be ruptured for many reasons: trauma, sporting activities or heavy menstrual periods. A hymenoplasty reconstructs the hymen, recreating the appearance of an intact hymen. Once the body has healed from the procedure, the new hymen is stretched upon intercourse, which can result in bleeding from stretching and tearing of the repair. Hymenoplasty is an outpatient procedure, as are all our feminine rejuvenation procedures, and takes about an hour to complete.
