Dysport®
In April, 2009, the FDA gave the go ahead for Dysport, a product similar to Botox. Although new to the U.S., Dysport has been used overseas for many years.
Dysport® relaxes facial muscles. It is made with the same ingredient as BOTOX®: botulinum toxin type A. Like BOTOX®, it tends to be most effective in treating wrinkles caused by muscles related to expression lines around the eyes, forehead, and mouth.
