Two exciting new natural fat transfer alternatives are now being offered at LJCSC. Both produce lasting cosmetic results without man-made implants or fillers. Both techniques increase the permanency of your results. With traditional fat transfer techniques, the “take” (permanency of transferred fat) was 30%. With PureGraft™, the take is 60%. The take in cell-enriched fat transfer averages 90%. To “take,” fat must develop its own blood supply in the new area being treated (the area where the fat is added).

1. PureGraft™ is the only FDA-approved fat-washing system. The PureGraft™ system cleans (washes) your fat of blood, unnecessary fluid, and toxic free lipids. Using this process prior to transfer doubles the take of the fat transfer to 60% as compared to traditional methods that do not purify the fat.

2. Cell-Enriched Fat Transfer (CEFT): With this approach, your surgeon removes your fat and processes it using sophisticated technology. Part of your fat harvested during liposuction is processed and concentrated to extract your own stem and regenerative cells. With CEFT, the “take” of the fat is extremely high (in the 90% range). This process works because it increases the formation of new blood vessels around and in the fat, thereby increasing permanency.

Following PureGraft™ or Cell-Enriched Fat Transfer, your treated area feels totally normal. There should be no firmness or lumpiness, and there is obviously no suggestion of an implant. Your own tissue has been redistributed virtually permanently. Your donor site is smaller and more ideally contoured.
