If you live here in Southern California, then you likely have many friends and neighbors for whom a healthy lifestyle is paramount. It’s all about feeling good. Yet if you’ve been out and about in San Diego on a sunny day, you also know how much we all pride ourselves on looking good as well.
If you think about it, looking good and feeling good are two sides of the same coin. You’ve heard of a person having “that healthy glow?” Nature, however, doesn’t always grant an ideal figure in exchange for healthy habits. Sometimes, nature needs some help.

Living in the California desert has its perks. Pool season lasts for 9 months. Unfortunately, for some, pool season can be anything but fabulous. LJCSC patient Lisa recalls her “exhausting” battle to keep covered up… when she preferred to be basking in the sun.
Giving birth to two children within 15 months of each other changed Lisa’s shape. She recalls “living in a sports bra 24/7” and feeling out of place at the pool. Her biggest challenge was the significant transformation in the shape and size of her breasts, causing her to “feel self-conscious and embarrassed.” She finally decided to do something about it.

When you are considering breast implants, one of the most natural questions to ask is how your loved ones will react. After all, plastic surgery—especially breast surgery—creates a sudden, noticeable change, and you can’t be sure how everyone will respond. Plastic surgery, like religion and politics, sometimes elicits strong reactions.
