Is liposuction safe?
Yes. When performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon, liposuction is considered a safe and reliable procedure. As with any surgery, there is a small risk of complications such as infection. To minimize these risks, your procedure will be performed in our QUAD A-accredited surgical suite, where the latest technology ensures the highest safety standards. You will also be cared for by a board-certified anesthesiologist who ensures your comfort and well-being from start to finish.
How long is liposuction recovery?
You can expect to be back to work anywhere from 4 to 7 days after your liposuction procedure; however, this timeline varies based on the approach. 360 Lipo recovery is typically a bit longer and requires up to 14 days of downtime. You will need to take a break from intense exercise for a few weeks as your body fully recuperates.
Your liposuction results should last a lifetime unless you experience any major weight fluctuations. Once fat cells are removed, they’re gone for good, but the remaining fat cells can still enlarge with weight gain. As long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle, you’ll enjoy a look you love for years to come.
