National Trainer for Allergan and Galderma

Lauren combines her skills and philosophy of compassionate care to create a comforting experience and beautifully natural results.

Lauren offers a variety of non-surgical choices for self-improvement that complement the work of our surgeons. Our patients are delighted with her aesthetic eye and gentle touch. Lauren’s reputation as a perfectionist makes her a trusted, highly sought-after practitioner.

Being trained in the medical model at Stanford School of Medicine, I am able to apply my knowledge of facial anatomy with the appropriate aesthetic procedure to assure the best results for every patient. I believe non-surgical procedures should enhance a patient’s natural beauty while going unnoticed to those around them.

LAUREN AMICO REED, PA-C

Lauren graduated from the University of San Diego with dual majors in psychology with pre-med studies and business marketing. Her medical credentials and advanced medical degree were earned in the Stanford University School of Medicine Physician Associate Program. She performed her internships locally at Tri-City and Scripps La Jolla Hospitals.

She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants and the American Association of Physician Assistants.

I knew after my first year of PA school, the specialty of aesthetic medicine was my path. It has the perfect triad of medicine, artistry and psychology. I love building long term relationships with my patients while helping them achieve and maintain a naturally beautiful self-image.

A “life-changing” career

I was originally drawn to aesthetics because it allows me to combine my knowledge and passion for artistry, anatomy, and beauty into medical practice. But what’s really been the most rewarding is how my work has helped change my patients’ lives for the better.

East Coast, West Coast

I feel at home on both coasts! I was born in San Diego but moved back to Amherst, New York, and my very large Italian family as a teenager. I’m still close with my New York family, and love visiting Cape Cod and Nantucket for vacation. Still, my family and I wouldn’t trade the casual lifestyle and countless outdoor activities of Southern California.

A competitive streak

People are surprised to learn that I played NCAA softball at Skidmore College and competed twice in Softball World Series tournaments. I’m also a long-suffering football fan of the Buffalo Bills fan and Stanford football.

A passion for fashion

My first job was as a fashion coordinator at Ralph Lauren. My love for classic fashion hasn’t wavered; in fact, it has created a big issue of closet space….my husband’s clothes are now in the guest bedroom (oops!).

In defense of carbs

Growing up in an Italian family, pasta, bread, and homemade pizzas were staples. I love it all. Good thing I like to run!
