Cynthia, Medical Assistant
As a medical assistant at La Jolla Cosmetic Surgery Centre, Cynthia is often one of the first smiling faces patients meet. She’ll be right there with you every step of the way through your transformation journey.
Training and Experience
Right after high school (literally a week later!), Cynthia jumped straight into her medical assistant program at Concorde Career College. She originally pursued child development at Grossmont College but quickly realized that her true passion was in the medical field.
With 14 years of experience under her belt, she’s worked in a variety of settings, from family clinics and chiropractic offices, to sleep clinics and even with veterans.
Other Aspirations
If Cynthia weren’t in the medical world, she could easily see herself as a preschool teacher. While studying child development, she loved being part of those early learning moments and helping little ones grow as they started school.
Outside of Work
When Cynthia’s not at work, she loves reading, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends. If she had a month just for herself, you’d find her jet-setting around the globe, trying new restaurants, and getting lost in a great book.
Fun fact: Cynthia is all about making the most of life. Whether she has a little or a lot, she believes it’s all about your mindset, and she tries to live life to the fullest every day.
