How much weight will I lose with weight loss injections?
While every Skinny Shot journey is unique, our patients treated with semaglutide or tirzepatide have, on average, experienced the following weight-loss patterns: Month 1 (6.6 to 10.6 pounds), Month 2 (13.8 pounds), Month 3 (18.1 pounds), and Month 4 (21.4 pounds). Your initial sign-up fee of $150 includes a basic panel that gives us a good indicator of your overall health and whether starting our Signature Skinny Shot program is safe for you. Will I have side effects while taking weight loss medications?
Some patients taking semaglutide may experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, or headaches. Most side effects can be managed and improved over time. Very rarely, pancreatitis, kidney dysfunction, or medullary thyroid cancer (animal studies only) may occur. We work with you to make your weight loss journey as easy and rewarding as possible.
What if I’m not comfortable with self-injections?
If needles make you nervous, don’t stress! Although we provide detailed written and video tutorials on how to self-inject, you can visit LJCSC for weekly onsite injections administered by our medical pros if that makes you more comfortable.
Does insurance cover weight loss injections?
We do not accept insurance for semaglutide or tirzepatide injections. Some outside providers may accept insurance for patients with a BMI over 30 or a BMI over 27 with comorbidity.
Are appetite-suppressing supplements safe?
Absolutely! Our recommended supplements contain a natural extract, are 100% plant-based, and are completely free of synthetic chemicals. When paired with weight loss injections, they curb hunger and help you reach your goal more quickly. For some people, they may even reduce the need to increase the semaglutide dosage over time.
