You may have noticed a new face here at LJC: Please welcome Dr. John Smoot to our team! We are excited to have him onboard and cannot wait to see his amazing results.
Dr. Smoot has joined us from the San Diego Plastic Surgery Clinic. For more than 20 years the San Diego Plastic Surgery Clinic provided various plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures. The practice was located in the Ximed building on the campus of Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. Within this group, Dr. Wendell D. Smoot III, Dr. John D. Smoot, Dr. Reza Sadrian, and Dr. Carol Hollan, all board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, operated on many patients with great surgical outcomes. Over the years, we admired the group’s commitment to give back to the community and noted the quality of their surgical results.
When the San Diego Plastic Surgery Clinic recently closed its doors, Dr. John Smoot came over and joined us at LJC; Dr. Wendell Smoot, John’s brother, retired. Drs. Reza Sadrian and Carol Hollan continue to practice on their own at the Plastic Surgery and Laser Institute of San Diego in La Jolla, at the same location in the Ximed building.
“I feel extremely fortunate to have been surrounded with skilled colleagues during my career,” says Dr. Smoot. “I wish them well as they continue to serve the community and their patients with care and respect”.
